MADELEINE MCCANN
The abduction of Madeleine McCann is to be recreated on Crimewatch to assist in the hunt for the missing four-year-old.
The McCanns hope to air an appeal on Crimewatch.
The McCanns are heading to Germany.
A family spokesman said he hoped an appeal would be made tomorrow night on the BBC1 programme on behalf of the McCanns.
It would mark the 33rd day since Madeleine was snatched from her parents apartment while holidaying in Praia da Luz, Portugal.
Kate and Gerry McCann will be in Berlin by then after travelling to Germany and the Netherlands to search for their daughter.
The family spokesman said: "Crimewatch is very important and it has a large audience."At one stage we felt the message was out there so utterly in Britain but we now feel it is more relevant."
Last week, Mr and Mrs McCann spoke at length about their daughter's abduction on Spanish television missing persons programme Los Mas Buscados, or Most Wanted.
Before they leave for Germany, the McCanns want to meet Portuguese police officials for an update on the investigation.
It has been 11 days since they had a "constructive and amicable" meeting, which led to the release of a description of a suspect which they had been aware of from the outset.
A meeting planned with police officials fell through last week.
The family spokesman said: "They are very happy with the level of co-operation they are receiving both from the Portuguese authorities via the British police but they are always keen to have further meetings - to be updated as often as possible."

-Now here's a link that will blow your mind. According to the article, the Media may have scared away the abductor. Now I get to see bunch of incompetency, but this is really rich. Since when do pedophiles simply turn the child into the nearest police station? Maybe the cops in Portugal should get outta the way of Scotland Yard and the Technocriminologists that might actually solve the abduction of Madeleine. The MSM actually does what is expected of them and they are still criticized.

Police in Portugal believe that Madeleine McCann may be in the hands of a kidnapper who has not issued a ransom demand because of the intense media coverage of her disappearance.
Kate and Gerry McCann with their twins in Praia da Luz yesterday. They remain convinced Madeleine is alive
Detectives said the abductor may have "panicked" because of the worldwide response to the case of the missing child, who was taken from her bedroom in the resort of Praia da Luz a month ago.
In the first hint that the coverage of Madeleine's disappearance may have inadvertently hampered the investigation, Olegario Sousa, a spokesman for the Judicial Police, said: "Who would ask for money for the girl when her image is running around the world?"
Kate and Gerry McCann have said the family would pay any sum to get the four-year-old back.
"If we thought it would secure her safe return, we would sell our house, we would do anything to get our daughter back," Mr McCann said.
