I have been out of town the last 6 days to attend my Daughter's High School Graduation. As I drove to Maryland to be with my daughter and the rest of my family on her special day ~ one thing was on my mind.

I got a tear in my eye as I thought to myself that Dave was where I am just two years ago and now he is never going to see his daughter again. As I took the same picture today that so many others Father's have taken since time eternal, it hit me again why I am still here fighting for Natalee.

You see, Natalee is my daughter too. She is your daughter, she is your sister, she is your grand daughter, she is your friend. She is the girl that was going to be your room-mate in college. She was your kids future Pediatrician.

As I held my Daughter tight and told her how proud I was of her, I got the feeling that only a proud parent can have. It's the same feeling that Dave had too. I'm sure you had it too if you have a child that has achieved goals beyond your wildest dreams. I'm not going to go on about my Daughter's phenomenal achievements. Let's just say I am very very happy about how she has become everything I have wished for and much more.

Like Dave and Beth, my ex-wife and I got divorced when my Daughter was young. My ex-wife and I have always put our Daughter first and have had for the most part an amicable relationship. We never argued about anything that meant putting our Daughter first. We made a decision and stuck to it. I guess that was why I was able to relate so easily to both Beth and Dave.

Now Beth and Dave have only Matt and Dave and Robin have the two little ones.

For me life will go on. For Beth and Dave life has stopped. When your pride and joy is a victim of a diabolical criminal element, its impossible to just move on.

I feel their pain. I would do almost anything to ease their two years of suffering. I can not ease their pain and neither can you. As much as we all want to say a kind word or offer a shoulder to cry on, we can not do what the Aruban Authorities can do.

One problem here - The Aruban Authorities are unwilling to do what it takes to end this two year nightmare. We all know who committed the crime. The suspect confessed, and still there is no resolution.

We all know that Joran Van Der Sloot is the perpetrator of the crimes against Natalee Ann Holloway. We also know that his two pimp side-kicks, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe participated in the crimes against Natalee.
We all know that Joran's father, Paulus Van Der Sloot, is involved in the disappearance of Natalee. We all know that the Aruban Government protected those responsible for the crimes against Natalee. We all know who was involved in the cover-up. Nothing is a secret anymore.

This is not just my opinion, this is from Joran's book and the Proces-Verbaals of the suspects themselves. The crimes against Natalee and the cover-up that ensued have taken time to completely reveal. It took time to wade through the propaganda campaign and to determine what was real and what was false. It took time to get the info from the Aruban Authorities and to cross reference it against other known facts in the case and come to the conclusion that only the 4 remaining Internet trolls refuse to believe.

The Natalee Holloway case never was very complex. It was the lying and the horrible manner in which her family was treated not only by the Aruban Authorities, but by a group of people with a common mental condition with nothing better to do than to torment a family already stricken with the worst kind of loss. A POX on you all. The TEN Plagues for each of you.

At this point ~ sorry a million times over would never be enough for me, no amount of money could undo the horrific 730 days that have gone by without knowing what became of Natalee and where she lies today. That was all Beth and Dave ever wanted. They wanted Natalee back to give her her final resting place. Only her parents should make that decision. The Aruban Authorities circumvent God's will and God's plan for Natalee. God will handle them in HIS time and in HIS way. I am sure.

Over the last two years, I went from someone who just cared about my fellow man and woman to a Victim's Rights Advocate. I was always someone who cared, but it was the Natalee Holloway case that was my catalyst. It pushed my over the top and made me decide I needed to do more than I was doing. I can't sit there and complain about the events of the day if I am not actively involved. And neither can you. There is a role for everyone. Even if it is to just say a kind word to a family missing a loved one. Believe me that goes a long way to ease some pain. When they know they are not alone, it helps. It helps tremendously to know that there is someone out there that cares enough about them to just pick up the phone or send an email and say something caring. They do appreciate it. They are thankful that you took the time to write or to just drop a dime.

Natalee is gone but not forgotten by us. The People who care. The People who make a difference. The People who give so selflessly of themselves. The People who not only give their hard earned money, but their most precious gift ~ their TIME. You are the ONES that make the world go round. You should be proud of the efforts you have all made and continue to make. God has made it clear to you that this is part of your purpose in LIFE. Use your time wisely, you only have so much.

God Bless Natalee and her Family.
