Police found the body of a 43-year-old Arizona woman Sunday, almost two weeks after she mysteriously vanished.

Cheryl Jones' 1998 Suzuki Esteem was found in a canyon Sunday just north of Black Canyon City, after the vehicle had apparently driven off the road and crashed. Police then found her body inside, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.

Police told MyFoxPhoenix.com that the accident appeared to happen several days ago.

Jones, of Tempe, was last seen in Prescott June 18 after a custody hearing with her ex-husband over the couple’s 14-year-old daughter. She left to visit friends in Cottonwood and had not been seen since.
