Somehow this guy has managed to remain in the background and under the radar. How has this all happened? Bloggers and Posters know more about the mysterious Lorenzo Van Rijn than Mr. Ramirez. He has not been caught in a lie because we have never heard one word from him. Strange, very STRANGE!

It could be easily argued that Mr. Ramirez has remained in the shadows because he knows nothing. As a matter of fact, there is not one picture of this guy.

How can someone that lives in the same house as two of the suspects know nothing?

It's impossible.

In the Dutch Legal System perpetrators make the rules up as the go along and change the dynamics in mid-stream if they don't like the way things are progressing. A System designed to allow criminals off and VICTIMS to languish.

If you lived in a house with a person suspected in the disappearance of a tourist you would expect that the Police would interview you and get your story on the record even if you have nothing to do with any of the actions of the suspects. It's common sense. The Dutch Legal System replaces common sense with malfeasance.

WHERE IS THE PROCESS VERBAAL OF MR. RAMIREZ?

The Kalpoe Brothers state they were home between 1:10 AM (Satish Kalpoe) and 2:30-3:00AM (Deepak Kapoe). Where was Mr. Ramirez?

According to small amount of information available on Mr. Ramirez, he is an Aruban businessman. Nothing is truly known about the businesses he owns or is involved with or if he does in fact own businesses or works for others. It is not even known if he is Aruban or an immigrant resident. Nadira Kalpoe, his wife, is originally from Suriname, and left Suriname when she married Mr. Ramirez. How these two met is not known.

If Mr. Ramirez is in fact a businessman, you would expect that he would be home in bed asleep as most businessmen are not out conducting business between 1 AM and 3 AM. Where is Mr. Ramirez's declaration stating the Kalpoe Brother's whereabouts between the time Natalee went missing and the time of 11 am the next morning when Deepak Kalpoe says he turned on the television? Natalee was abducted from Carlos and Charlie's in downtown in Oranjestad at 1 AM. The next time anyone sees either Kalpoe Brother is when a neighbor gave a declaration that he or she witnessed Deepak Kalpoe vacuuming his car out at 3-3:30 AM. Deepak Kalpoe's declaration confirms that he was indeed cleaning his car during those hours.

A neighbor has provided a PV yet there is not one from Mr. Ramirez?

It can only be one thing. One thing that will destroy tourism FOREVER. A secret no one will ever accept. Something even more horrendous than anything mentioned to date.

The main questions through-out the case of Natalee Holloway are : What is so important that Aruba will give the main suspects in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway a free pass? What does Paulus Van Der Sloot know, or who does he know?

Everyone asks themselves the same questions over and over again. Almost as if by repeatedly asking those questions, the answers will magically appear. In the short history of the Net, Natalee Holloway is probably the most discussed person. Bloggers and Posters have gathered more info in her case than any other. Even with all the info collected, questions are still not answered.

All of the corruption, malfeasance, drugs, prostitution, gangland murders, smuggling, human trafficking, persons being held captive by Ministry Officials all pale in comparison to the REAL Aruban secret.

Drugs and prostitution are not the secret, they are out there for everyone to see, and some actually seek out Aruba as a travel destination for those vices.

Gambling and money laundering? Again the answer is no. Anyone looking to gamble can go to Vegas or Atlantic City. It's hardly a vice anymore. Even your Grandmother is in a NCAA Basketball Pool and everyone knows that money laundering has been happening on Aruba for decades, it's not a secret.

Is it Child Porn? This is one area that everyone seems to agree upon. It's disgusting and needs to be eliminated. The Diario briefly touched on this subject last year. Unfortunately they never seemed to complete the story and name who was involved. They just left it at - 'Elders'. I do not think this is the issue that is keeping SURVIVORS in the dark.

So what is it?

It is the bodies of the DEAD. Those missing on Aruba and those either VICTIMS of CRIMES or persons who had a tragedy befall them. Where are they and who is responsible for the decisions to make them 'missing'? This is the issue that no one will accept from Aruba. Imagine for a second that your mother, father, brother or sister went missing on Aruba. Would you recommend Aruba as a travel destination? Imagine for a second that someone is deliberately 'disappearing' them to protect tourism. No one would ever recommend Aruba. No travel agent and no 'good' word of mouth would ever be spoken about Aruba again.

I know of about 11 persons missing on Aruba, counting an Aruban woman from about 4 years ago. Those are official 'MISSING PERSONS' and not those that are 'off the books'.

Sure crime happens everywhere, we all know that. It is part of the Human Condition. A condition that has not seen much improvement over the last 100 years even though there has been an Industrial Revolution that has lifted many out of poverty. As I learned growing up, 'A rising tide lifts all ships'. Well, that is not necessarily so. There will always be predators and those they prey upon. There are many cases of people with infinite wealth that are also predators. Money alone does not make someone a good and honorable person. Predators do not care about wealth or a stable living environment, they only care about themselves.

Aruba does all to protect TOURISM. They go so far as to protect the very people that harm others (Tourists) on the Island. That alone is convoluted and twisted. How can any society flourish when some get preferential treatment? I read day after day in the Diario of people convicted of crimes on Aruba. However, very very few ever seem to be Dutch. The Aruban Authorities could argue that they do prosecute criminals. The disproportionate numbers surely reflect the true nature of their Justice System. A home divided.

Starting in 1986, Aruba received their Separate Status from Holland and here is where the trouble started. In an effort to transform Aruba into something heavenly, all talk of crime seized. No one wants to go anywhere where crime is rampant. Would you take your kids to Bogotá? Or how about Baghdad? I doubt it.

Throughout the years Aruba has been confronted with crime, just like every state in the USA and Holland. Unfortunately, they decided to do the WRONG thing and hoped no one would notice. Well, no one really noticed except for a few of us that had been going to Aruba and had seen the changes with our own eyes. I had heard of people missing from a cab driver or two. It was always followed with, so and so ran away, or that person was involved in an insurance scam or even that person wanted a less complicated life and decided to change their name.

I would always wonder to myself, why would they all be picking Aruba to make this life changing move? Are they dishing out new passports with no questions asked?

As time passed on, I began to become concerned about Aruba. I had friends there and knew something wasn't right. There was something that many on the island knew, but no one wanted to divulged. Such as the time I asked a friend who was the son of a Retired High Commissioner for information in Natalee's case that I could take to Beth and Dave. He replied, 'I am not the person to give you THAT info'. The info is on Aruba, but no one will provide it. Friendships fall to the side when you want to help someone in pain.

When Natalee became a CRIME VICTIM on Aruba, the ALE and Aruban Authorities used the ole tried and true mantras, only this time they didn't work. Some of us were already highly suspicious about crime on Aruba. It didn't take long to find out what we all suspected. Crimes go unpunished and paperwork, files and declarations end up in the circular file under Dennis Jacobs' desk.

When Max DeVries became a CRIME VICTIM on Aruba, it could be theoretically argued that he did not wash ashore. Even though the tests Aruba conducted during the Natalee Holloway investigation using dummies found that they did wash up on shore unless they were out 2.5 miles. In that case the dummies floated in the direction of Panama. According to info, Max was out on the jet-ski for 45 minutes and could have been beyond the 2.5 miles. Max was out 15 minutes longer than the rental time allotted. When David Stacey, the man Max went jet-skiing with was found, he was in possession of both jet-skis and Max was no where to be found. It would be interesting to see the records of where Mr. Stacey was located. How far out was Mr. Stacey?

In the case of Willard 'Buddy' Larson, he never even made it into the water. It's very hard to say that he floated all the way to Panama from dry land. In Buddy's case, he seems to have bought a hotel, air, and windsurfing package. When he went to get his equipment to windsurf, reports are that the supplier of the equipment did not have his equipment and that was the last time anyone saw Mr. Larson. Again, it's hard to fathom that he floated to Panama. Where are the reports regarding Mr. Larson's case? And for that matter, where is Mr. Larson.

On an Island only 77 square miles, it's hard to imagine that he completely disappeared. It is also possible that the people that owned the windsurfing shop, disposed of Mr. Larson at sea. Those with water sports businesses generally do own boats. Where are the declarations in Mr. Larson's case? Someone must have been questioned in his case and why were no charges ever brought? These are questions that demand answers so that the Family members can have complete closure.

Paulus Van Der Sloot would have been in the position to know many of the intimate details of all of the cases I have just mentioned, and could have blackmailed those involved in the 'missing person body squad' ran by Dirty Hand Edwin Comemencia.

When Paulus Van Der Sloot started the Holiday Inn story it seems it was to buy some time. He then used his friends and associates to do his ultimate DIRTY work.

When Paulus Van Der Sloot threatened the ALE, The Aruban Prosecutor's Office and the Aruban Government with telling all about the 'Body Squad' things changed instantly.

This happened on 6-10-2005.

Phones calls WIRETAPPED by the Aruban Prosecutor's Office will reveal the extent of these threats. These threats were made directly to Jan Van Der Straaten, Former Chief of Polis.

The Missing Aru-Bay Video: What is it and why haven't we seen it again? (Click the movies titled 'small movies' 11620051 through 11620059. These are date formatted. 11620051 = 6/11/2005 file #1. And so on.)

First of all let me assure you all that it DOES in fact exist. I know because I am the only person that has seen it beside the poster Jacy(Just Me) who sent it to me. I now believe she worked in some capacity to get the Aruban message out then promptly disappeared when the Aru-Bay Video fiasco imploded on them. There is always the chance that she was an unwilling dupe in this instance.

As I have related many times that video shows men in BIO-SUITS and a small white EURO style white van. The van may actually be a Japanese Daihatsu.

Daihatsu Van. Closest I could find to the Van in the Missing Video. Dushi Bagels delivery van is almost an exact match to Van in the Missing Video. Van in Missing Video does not have back windows.

In the video it appears that men in the Bio-Suits are examining a crime scene in the rock area behind the California Lighthouse and are preparing to gather forensic evidence.

Seems harmless enough and does not seem to imply anything nefarious.

Is that what really happened?

The 'missing video' is the first in the Aru-Bay series and has eluded the grasp of everyone trying to retrieve it. It appears to have been shot very early in the morning and the person with the two dogs is wearing a windbreaker jacket (possibly green in color). After about 8-9 am, it would be too hot to wear a windbreaker. In the other videos, the person is no longer wearing the windbreaker.

Is it evidence or more obstruction?

I now believe this VAN delivered the body parts and heads to the rock area from a grave(s) or the morgue.

The HEADS in the remaining videos are slightly decomposed and not skeletal. As Carpe Noctem found, there is one head with the tongue hanging out and what appears to be a bullet hole in the right temple and a piece of gauze covering the exit wound on the left side.

Why is that video missing?

I believe if it ever re-appeared it would show conclusively that the ALE and Visibility Team created the crime scene behind the lighthouse. IT WOULD SHOW WHAT NO ONE WANTS TO BELIEVE. It would show the ALE and Visibility Team transporting body parts to the rocks area. DIRTY HAND, the ALE and the Aruban Authorities did in fact try to obstruct JUSTICE for Natalee and her Family as early as 6/9/2005. This plan must have been hatched days before.

We all know that the ATA (Aruba Tourism Authority) and Tamara Waldron began posting on message boards as early as 6/5/2005. The messages they posted are clear for all to see. It was everyone's fault but Paulus and Joran Van Der Sloots, and the Kalpoe Brothers.

The attempt to steer the investigation away from the Van Der Sloot house was a diabolical plan conceived at the highest levels of the Aruban Government.

Any Government that would go to these lengths to hide the TRUTH is dangerous. VERY DANGEROUS.

Please remember that Prime Minister Nelson Oduber returned from Fort Lauderdale on the morning of 6/9/2005 and gave a press conference at 11 am on the case.

To protect Tourism and the Van Der Sloots, Aruba went to extraordinary lengths.

Exposing the COVER-UP that the Aruban Government created has taken time, but the picture is becoming clearer everyday.

Are these videos still important?

YES, they are more important now than ever. The 'Missing Video' needs to be recovered so the true intent of the ALE, Visibility Team, and the Aruban Authorities can be exposed to the WORLD.

We need to know why Ed Smith has a video titled Natalee 3 on his site and why it is 'FORBIDDEN'. Notice that the spelling of Natalee's name is the correct spelling. It is not a coincidence.

Nothing that has happened is by chance alone no matter how loud those on Aruba and their allies scream.

I am for one thing, JUSTICE. Everyone needs to be assured that if 'Something Bad Happens' the proper punishment will be meted out should a conviction occur.

The Death Penalty is THE PUNISHMENT, not to be confused with a deterrent. If it deters one person from committing a similar crime, that's great but that's not the intention of the Penalty itself.

Last night I was watching Nancy Grace as I sometimes do, and I had the opportunity to finally hear what the animals charged in Christopher Michael Barrios' death actually did to little Christopher Michael.

Son George David Edenfield, a mentally slow 32-year-old man who lived with his parents across the street from the boy's grandmother, was arrested and charged with violating his probation from a 1997 child molestation conviction, which prohibits him from contact with children. Police said he admitted playing a role in Christopher's disappearance.

Mother and Father Peggy Edenfield, 57 and David Edenfield, 58, and 34-year-old Donald Dale. Dale is charged in the crimes after the fact.

I can already see how this one will be played out by the Defense. All are 'VICTIMS' of this diabolical father. We have all heard this before.

Well, I am not buying that and I will be here to make sure this case does not get derailed by a sycophant Defense Attorney.

This little boy deserves JUSTICE and he's going to get IT.

If I see this 'White Trash' and their Attorneys pulling any shenanigans in this case, I will make my voice heard far beyond this BLOG.

It has been almost 3 years since Max became a CRIME VICTIM on Aruba. He was first a VICTIM of his assailant then a VICTIM of the Aruban Law Enforcement.

To date, Yvonne DeVries has not received the final paper work detailing the final conclusion the Aruban Authorities have reached in his case. Ms. DeVries has also not received any correspondence from any US entity.

That does not bode well for those of us waiting for the two year statue to expire in Natalee's case and the remaining documents to be released.

According to Ms. DeVries, there was never any investigation.

The Aru-Bay Videos, what the heck are they really?

In a case with tons of coincidences, twists and turns, and leaves us all grasping for the TRUTH, one area of the case is the famous ARU-BAY Videos. This deserves additional examination.

I have been studying these videos since 6/13/2005 when I received a PM from a poster asking me to look at a certain video in the group. At first I was not sure they had anything to do with Natalee's case. I had no idea how old the videos actually were. I also did not have access to the parent list from the ARU-BAY site at that time.

After acquiring all of the additional info I needed to make a determination, I began to become convinced they were part of the case involving the disappearance of Natalee.

I discovered that the videos were shot on 6/10/2005 and 6/11/2005 and were part of a larger video broken into many pieces to save server space. I contacted Ed Smith and began a roller-coaster ride dealing with a person with delusions. (I'm not going to talk to much about my dealings with Ed.)

I discovered that Ed was not reasonable and did not wish to share the TRUTH about the videos. Whatever it is Ed is hiding about these videos, it will remain hidden. Or will it? He will not release the 'missing video' no matter how much money is involved. That alone makes me suspicious about what the true nature of what the videos entails.

Internet poster EXTRAORDINAIRE Carpe Noctem dissected each video. CALIFORNIA LIGHT HOUSE PICTURES HERE. He found many truly amazing things on those videos and did still-captures of the videos where you can clearly see a variety of things that should not be there.

THE HEADS AND BODY PARTS ARE REAL.

What is not real?

It's not a real crime scene.

It was staged to make it look like something was happening on Aruba to get a conclusion to Natalee's case or to lead everyone away from the Van Der Sloot house and the real crime scene. As you can tell by the Polis Officers actions, there is no urgency to get the body parts cleaned up, they just lie on the ground as they continue painting.

This was hard to put together and come to the correct conclusion.

On 6/2/2005 Dave Holloway and his friends searched the area behind the California Lighthouse. They did not see any heads or any other body part. They found nothing. Yet the cops kept pretending that something was happening there and acted suspicious so Dave and his friends would continue to look there. I'm sure you remember the incident with the crooked cop Halley.

On 6/5/2005 the group searched again and found nothing. There was no red substance on any of the rocks at that point.

This area was searched so many times and by so many different people that if there was anything there it would have been found.

On the night of 6/9/2005 Joran Van Der Sloot confessed that 'Something Bad Happened' and in the morning he was going to take the Authorities to the location of the body.

Also on the night of 6/9/2005 someone on the orders of Dirty Hand began creating a crime scene in the rock area behind the California Lighthouse.

Whether this was done to make it impossible for the cadaver dogs to make a HIT or to distract the media, the thread-surfers, and the Family, I can not be totally sure. I do know it was done to make it a movie.

One problem, the right hand didn't know what the Dirty Hand was doing. Interrogators get their confession, but how to explain the mess Dirty Hand created in the rock area if that is not where the body is located?

They overlapped the confession and the Aru-Bay videos by accident. Now it really looked like the Polis had her body.

Now retract that confession and get rid of those videos. Too Late. They're on the net and not coming back. Now the real problem is coming ashore like a TSUNAMI.

Now a massive can of worms has been opened and there are no excuses for what the Polis are doing with the Visibility Team in the rock area painting over rocks with non-removable white paint. (What the White Substance IS will be revealed at end of post.)

Now everyone is asking questions. And the Polis are not giving answers. It's all imploding on them. They are caught.

Art Wood said that before they ever searched the rock area behind the California Lighthouse a Polis Officer disclosed to him that they found a 7 year old Columbian Boy there the YEAR BEFORE.

Then they tried that story and it didn't work. Some had already known that was a lie.

They also never disclosed that Dinesh ‘Pitbull’ Djoegan was found tied up there the year before during Christmas.

I have seen so many posters and bloggers ask, "How did Ed know where to go?"

According to Ed he told me he followed the Polis while a distraction was created on the other side of the island.

That was not true. Ed was told where to be and bring his camera. This was all an attempt to make it appear that Natalee was either being moved around, or re-buried.

The truth was the Polis had her body on the first or second night. They had to come up with some creative ideas to make it look like the case was moving.

Jan Van Der Straaten in his infamous quote said 'he had seen the evidence that Natalee was dead, and you hadn't' -(to a reporter).

The only evidence that Van Der Straaten could use to make a conclusion like that is the fact that he had indeed seen the body early on and that alone fuels the fire of the posters clamoring for Holland and the US Federal Government to look at this from a cover-up stand point. Police do not say there is a dead person unless there is a dead person. That's Police 101.

With the Polis in possession of her body and the Family searching, they couldn't just reproduce her and put her on the beach. They would be exposed again. But this time, the Family is already convinced that a cover is in progress or that a serious case of malfeasance was on-going. Remember Aruba is only so big and a lot of the island had already been searched and if an area had been searched and cleared, the only way to re-produce the body of Natalee is to say that someone is digging her up and moving her around if you plan to have her re-appear.

By the time word had reached Ed Smith to remove the video, it was too late, someone already had the 'missing video' with the men in bio-suits, and that was a problem. How do the Polis say that is NOT a crime scene? They can't.

So you have people claiming the Polis do in fact have the body and they do, just not recovered from the rock area behind the California Lighthouse, but from the Van Der Sloot house by the bifrons who worked for Dirty Hand.

So what is that 'white stuff' the ALE and Visibility Team used to paint over the rocks?

NOORD, Aruba -- Aruban police Wednesday searched the home of a high-ranking Dutch judicial official whose son was with an Alabama honors student the night she disappeared, carrying out plastic garbage bags full of items and towing away two vehicles.

Wednesday's search of the van der Sloot home lasted about four hours. Two white-uniformed investigators from Holland carried suitcases into the one-story, yellow-beige home, which includes an attached apartment where the young man lives. They later returned the suitcases to their white, unmarked car.

Investigators also emerged from the house carrying two white plastic garbage bags full of unidentified items. A German Shepherd also sniffed around the property outside the capital, Oranjestad.

Authorities towed a blue sport utility vehicle and a red Jeep away from the house, which is surrounded by a low stone wall and fronted by an expanse of trees and cacti.

"The search is part of the investigation," said Mariaine Croes, a spokeswoman for Attorney General Caren Janssen.

Croes said both cars belonged to the family, but she did not say why they were taken away.

Janssen, who also went into the house, declined to comment as investigators wrapped up their search at about 4 p.m. Six police officers guarded the entrance to the property.

"We are just looking for evidence at the house but have nothing yet," police spokesman Edwin Comemencia said during the search.

ORANJESTAD – The police corps committed a blunder in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. According to ex-commissioner Stanley Zaandam, who dedicates attention to the case here and also in his upcoming publication.

According to Zaandam, the nominations - of among others Commissioners Bernardina, Dompig, Hassel and Richardson, along with 34 high-rank 1st class inspectors - which are against the law and hierarchy of the KPA [police corps], have serious consequences for the quality and integrity of work in KPA.

Accoding to Zaandam, none of the high-ranked commissioners has the qualifications nor experience to conduct a judicial investigation.

According to Zaandam, Commissioner Dompig is under the instruction of Minister Rudy Croes, of MEP.

He also states that 20 other policemen were ranked high on a political list. Five others (…) among them Commissioner Hassell, according to Zaandam.

He also claims this is how Commissioner vd Straten was appointed to this case. However, according to Zaandam, this should not be work for a commissioner.

Zaandam continues talking about the blunder under which the 3 youngsters were questioned, which should have been a simple case, but one that resulted in KPA’s biggest blunder, due to the deceitfulness of JvdS, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, they remained free another 12 days.

Zaandam keeps on saying in his book, two days after 5/29, the body of Natalee H. may have already been found and Cvp [police commissioner] looked the other way to do a favour for Paul vd Sloot (ex of chief staff of Cabinet PG [prosecutor general] J. To exculpate the son of Paul, the CvP and fiscal chief prosecutor Karen Jansen made the false arrest of two ex-security guards, Jones and John , called this a ‘tactical maneuver’ , and denied them their freedom for another 10 days.

Most likely since years back, private and public tourism authorities and law enforcement officials had an underlying agreement not to report crimes against tourists because they were detrimental to their image of pure, safe and uncorrupted island paradise. This unwritten law was easy to implement because incidents were so infrequent, that they could report them as missing persons. From 1996 through 2002, they had three disappearances reported. Not bad. An average of one disappearance every 24 months.

When Natalee’s incident occurred, Joran told Paulus about the “accident” and Paulus immediately thought of the island team in charge of “missing” people cases. Paulus had worked a few years back for the prosecutors office, as Antonio Carlo’s subordinate and had learned how Arubian authorities initiated these patriotic techniques, to preserve both, the island's economic sovereignty and the aspirational image of its criminals, which are portrayed as selective for going after illegal immigrants and locals only, not tourists.

Paulus was not totally frank about the incident. He just called his compadre Edwin -Papito- Commemencia and reported the case. Papito called the “missing” squad and they got rid of Natalee. They assumed this was just going to be one more case where Police authorities give the family of the victim the runaround; they give up and go home to light candles. They weren’t counting on Beth’s obsessive, unrelentless, persistent, annoying character.

The media started coming to Aruba and the news began spreading. What to do … that was the big question. The police, ATA and AHATA met. They agreed that they were going to show the family and the US that they care and are willing to do everything to find their missing daughter. “ Hey”, they said, “Maybe this will be good for us. All these cameras will put our island in the forefront”. The craziness begins and Arubian arrivistes show their faces in front of the spotlight.

When one week later the authorities figured out that the threesome was responsible for the crime and they envisioned the consequences of having an international coverage of the case and the investigation, it’s already too late. They can’t go back and undo what they have done, because the “missing” scheme would be revealed and that would mean the definite end of existence of the thriving Arubian tourism industry. Since then on, the madness and the lies have not stopped.

As Dompig stated in the Vanity Fair interview, they thought they were dealing with a normal family. By that he meant families like those of Richard Henríquez, Gary Makings and Willard Larson, all missing in Aruba never to be found.

At the beginning of the investigation Papito Comemencia was very active as police spokesperson. I understand he is the officer that Joran considers his Godfather and uncle, not van der Straaten. He is -or at least was- very close to the van der Sloots.

Dompig was in charge of the interrogations back then. If you recall, he is the one that got the “confession” out of Joran on the 10th or 11th of June 2005, but it could not be admitted because the time duration of the interrogation exceeded the limit allowed for a minor.

A few weeks into the case, both Comemencia and Dompig sort of vanished and all focus turn to Jan van der Straaten. Most likely this was an Arubian strategy to point the finger at the Dutch, and steer the blame away from them.

Some of Comemencia’s key moments include reporting the different and dive searches, reporting beforehand that Paulus would request the court to allow permission to see Joran in jail, informing that nothing was found on the van der Sloot’s property search, telling Beth that blood had been found on the Kalpoe’s car, insinuating that more people were involved and in general, creating confusion and false expectations.

He is supposed to be Papi the Butterfly, the person that Simian/Merian Webster supposedly stated could unravel this whole mess. This is what I recall reading, but I guess an SM T&S lover could confirm this or not.

Comemencia could have bvery well alerted ahead of time about searches, but I don't know if he did or not. What matters is that he is the one that has the personal relationship with the van der Sloots and not van der Straaten, he is the one that Joran considers his uncle and Godfather, he is the one that was very present until they passed the ball to the Chief of Police, and he is the one that distorted information to confuse the public opinion as far as the investigation was concerned.

One example is telling Beth about blood in the Kalpoe’s car. Most likely he did it to handle Beth, in order to shift her vision of primary responsibility from Joran to the brothers. Just guessing, though.

Also, Comemencia often stated or implied that the FBI was involved in the investigative process, when that was not the case.

Mother, daughter raise funds for Mott, family in memory of late husband and son

Last May, Yvonne DeVries of Brighton decided to take her children Max, 14, and Dominique, 12, to Aruba to celebrate the fact that they were still a family and a strong one.

Eighteen months earlier, her husband George had died of a heart attack at the age of 51. And while they still grieved, they had survived.

"We started getting back on track," said DeVries, whose husband died two days before their 13th wedding anniversary. "The kids both did really good in school. ... It was about our strength and remembering their dad. We liked the water a lot. We had a sailboat and spent a lot of time by the water and found a lot of peace and comfort there."

But the vacation that was to have been a celebration would end in tragedy.

Max, an eighth-grader at Scranton Middle School in Brighton, was swept out to sea while jet skiing with another tourist. His body was never found.

DeVries knew that in order to get through her fresh grief, she needed to focus on something positive. She and her daughter, now a seventh-grader at Scranton, discussed several ideas for helping others through a program they would call Max to the Millions.

Dominique, who turned 13 on Tuesday, had been born two months premature, and decided she wanted to raise money for premature babies.

In the last few months, she and her mother and a lot of supporters held six fund-raisers in Brighton, including a battle of the bands and auctions.

They raised $15,000 for the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital's Holden Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and decided that they would give $1,000 to the premie born closest to Dominique's March 1 birthday.

That's why mother and daughter were at Mott Children's Hospital Friday, turning tragedy into a "pay it forward" plan to help others. The DeVrieses gave $1,000 to Pete and Sara Knoester of Dexter, who welcomed twin boys a month early on Monday.

Pete Knoester, 25, is a third-year medical student at the U-M Medical School. He said he and his wife were thrilled to receive the $1,000.

"We were just blown right off our feet," he said, as the DeVrieses met the babies in their incubators. "It's an answer to prayer."

The Knoesters had just been at the financial aid office the day before they got the news, looking into more student loans to finance the next few years. Sara Knoester, 26, had been a recreation therapist for Washtenaw County until recently, but will stay home with the twins for the rest of the year, with plans to return on a part-time basis.

About half the $15,000 Max to the Millions raised went to the Holden Gift Fund for new programs for families and the other half for research/education.

"This is a tremendous thing for lots of different reasons," said Dr. Steven Donn, a neonatologist and director of Mott's division of neonatal/perinatal medicine. "It's nice to see a family who wants to give back."

The changes in neonatal medicine have been phenomenal since Dominique was born just 13 years ago, Donn said, in part due to research supported by fund-raisers and other programs such as Max to the Millions.

Starting in January and for the rest of the year, the money from Max to the Millions will support a weekly "Scrapbooks & Sandwiches" program in which parents are invited to a conference room for free sandwiches, scrapbooks and scrapbook supplies to use for their new families.

"I can't tell you enough how everyone loves it," clinical nurse supervisor Corrie Osgood told the DeVrieses.

In a teary exchange of gifts and sentiment, the DeVrieses asked the Knoesters to suggest who they should give $1,000 to next year on April 18, which was Max's birthday.

When Sara Knoester said her heart goes out to children with special needs, DeVries promised that Dominique would try to find someone who would meet that description from a low-income family. Max to the Millions will hold at least one fund-raiser for the next several years, giving another $1,000 each April 18.

"What we're doing with the fund-raiser is trying to balance the scales of justice a little bit by doing something good to remember Max and George by," said DeVries. "It's helped a lot in the healing process."

"I'm just happy we could have a chance to do something like this," said the soft-spoken Dominique, who arrived at the hospital with blankets she had made for the twins and so many other gifts that Sara Knoester said it was like another baby shower.

The two families exchanged addresses and promised to keep in touch with occasional pictures of the twins.

DeVries said she and Dominique had been waiting for many weeks for March 1, to see who would get the check. When twins were announced, Dominique quickly made another blanket and she and her mother bought more gifts.

DeVries said it was appropriate that the baby turned out to be two little boys.

"It seemed almost like there was one for each of them," she said, referring to her husband and son.

DeVries recalled how Max had tried to take over the role of man of the house after his father died.

"He'd mow the lawn that took three hours to do and never complain," she said, noting that he said it made him feel closer to his father. "They were two peas in a pod. They ended up being the best little buddies. It was sad enough to lose your husband, but when you end up also losing your little boy ..."

Asked how her husband and son would feel about Max to the Millions, Yvonne said: "I think they'd both have big toothy smiles. I think George would say, 'I knew you had it in you.' And Max would be a little overwhelmed that we did that for him."

MIAMI (AP) -- The sex offender convicted of kidnapping, raping and then killing 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford by burying her alive behind his trailer could now face the death penalty.

The Good News is that John Evander Couey IS GUILTY, and will never ever hurt a child again. The BAD NEWS - he was given 24, yes 24 chances to get his life in order, and he never did. Jessica paid the price.

There was no reason that this animal should not have been in jail. The recidivism rate for child molesters is 80%. When will the laws be changed to protect our children?

And why weren't Gene Secord, 35, Madie Dixon Secord, 27; Dorothy Marie Dixon, 47; and Matthew Dittrich, 31, also charged with Jessica's Murder as accessories?

House Approves Death Penalty For Repeat Child Molesters

(March 5, 2007)--Hardcore child molesters could face the death penalty in Texas under a bill given preliminary approval Monday by the state House of Representatives.

The bill is designed to crack down on sex offenders who repeatedly prey on children.

The House voted to create a new category of crime, continual sexual abuse of a young child or children.

It carries a minimum of 25 years to life in prison and possibly the death penalty for a second offense.

The bill represented a compromise after the House delayed voting on a broader death penalty provision because of constitutional concerns.

There were also worries it might lead some molesters to kill their victim

We can NOT allow threats of more murdered CHILDREN to delay this bill. This bill needs to go NATIONWIDE.

Who is Paulus Van Der Sloot calling with details in the case of Natalee Holloway?

Not his attorney, there would be Attorney \ Client privilege here. Even the archaic Dutch Legal System recognizes that is a necessity.

There are only two logical choices as to who he was calling.

The first would be Jan Van Der Stratten, former Polis Chief.

The second would be his brother, Marco van der Sloot. He holds the title of Coördinator van de commissie MKE (Mobiliteit, Kennis en Economie) of the The Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy, VVD) and is an active member of the VVD, the 3rd largest political party in the Netherlands. Now we all know that Paulus Van Der Sloot told his son Joran and the Brothers Kalpoe to STAY OFF THE PHONE AS THEY WOULD BE BUGGED.

So Paulus Van Der Sloot breaks his own cardinal rule and blows his own cover. The information he disclosed was very important in the case and he takes a HUGE RISK to tell someone just what he was doing and his whereabouts. We can surmise that the person on the other end of the phone was an ALLY and not a FOE or he would not have risked that disclosure. It was very important that the person on the other end of the line needed to know exactly what was UP and what they were up against.

You can not fix a 'problem' if you do not know all of the details. So the disclosure was very important and it was most likely to someone not on Aruba or he would have RAN to that person and told him or her in person.

What else was recorded? That WIRE TAP is the tip of the iceberg. There will be more to follow and the outrage will certainly be JUSTIFIED.

When Alabama Congressman Bacchus left the meeting with the Aruban Delegation in Washington, he was asked by Greta Van Sustern what were the Arubans upset about? He replied - "WIRE TAPS".

So you have the US Federal Government wire tapping phones on Aruba and the Aruban Authorities tapping phones of the suspects. The answers to the case are right here.

In a case that has not had any good news since the Brothers Kalpoe were re-detained, good news is less than 90 days away. The case will be closed and the information will be disclosed to the FINGER POLICE who will tear it apart and get to the bottom of this travesty called an INVESTIGATION.

If there was going to be a re-detainment of the main suspects in this case, it would have happened by now. Everything that is known has been known to the Aruban Prosecutor's Office for quite some time and there is nothing new that will tip the scales in favor of a re-detainment.

The outrage that will be coming will be hard to control.

Not only is Aruba the Americano Turista's worst nightmare, but they don't even give a damn if you die on their island.

Now, no one loved Aruba more than me. I sent so many of my friends there that I'm totally ashamed that I took their lives in my hands and risked their safety.

From palm trees falling on tourists to faulty All Terrain Vehicles to crappy dive equipment, what's next? Jet Blue landing on Palm Beach because the Queen Beatrix Airport has faulty radar? No one takes responsibility on Aruba. It's always someone else's fault.

Aruba is the ultimate con job. Believe me I bought it 9 times. I feel like such a gullible jackass for actually believing that Aruba cared about it's tourists.

Nothing happened to me other than being sold some bogus Cohiba Cigars that tasted like the Moko Dump Fire. I feel extremely lucky. Others were not so fortunate.

From bogus autopsies to suspects being freed in apparent murder cases, Aruba is dangerous to your health. Tuberculosis and Dengue Fever seem to be the parting gifts that keep on giving.

Aruba has a serious IMAGE PROBLEM. I didn't create it, they did.

With Droga Buzzards hanging on just about every corner of Downtown Oranjestad and the Polis turning their backs to all kinds of CRIMES, how long will it be until there is another INTERNATIONAL CASE on Aruba? I have my money on ANY DAY NOW! And ya know what? I will cry no tears for Aruba when it cries it is the VICTIM of the Main Stream Media again.

Crime happens everywhere, it's a fact of life. However the disingenuous way that the Aruban Government conducts investigations and allows VICTIMS to be blamed for their own misfortune (Ahhh-Hmmm, Criminal ACTS) while on Aruba, really takes the cake. They are so terrible at the COVER UP game that it took literally only 9 days to realize that they were not doing their level best to solve the CRIMES against Natalee Holloway.

Amateurs to solving crimes had this pegged on day 9 (BTW Today is day 662). Yet Aruba keeps trying to make it appear as if they were doing something. Here we sit 21 months later and they still have done nothing.

Broken promises to re-interview the main suspects. Deepak Kalpoe says 'he knows too much and he's not going back to jail.' Doesn't that alone tell you that there is something more here than a simple case of incompetency?

Let's say for a second that this is all incompetency. Does that make you feel any safer about Aruba? What if you are a VICTIM on Aruba and there is no conclusion as to what became of you or worse yet, they dispose of your body denying your loved ones a proper burial?

Aruba is not safe - stay away until further notice.

Another month has now gone by making it 13 very long months since we last saw, hugged, kissed and spoke with Jennifer. Time does not heal all wounds when there are no answers. We, her family and friends are as strong as ever if not stronger and committed to doing everything humanly possible to find her and bring her home. We have said this time and time again; however the investigation into Jennifer's abduction is still VERY ACTIVE. Leads continue to come in almost daily and we need them to continue so please if you know anything - anything, and we know someone knows something, do not discount it and call any one of the contact numbers listed on this site, Police, Crimeline, family tipline, a lawyer, the Clergy or anyone you trust to pass on information, we are desperately seeking to end Jennifer's disappearance. No one deserves what she is or has gone through and it should not be tolerated by any society. To this day, there is still an abductor(s) loose amongst us and they need to be found and taken off our streets. If not, WHO WILL BE NEXT?

If you do know information and you are not coming forward you are considered just as guilty as the person(s) who has committed this heinous crime. Yes, it will be the hardest thing you have ever done - giving information or coming forward - however Jennifer is a human being, not an object, and needs to be freed or found, SIMPLY LEAVE HER IN A PUBLIC PLACE AND GO! We are not going to back down or go away nor will the authorities! It's only a matter of time, so make that time NOW! There are still reward monies available for Jennifer's whereabouts or The Person of Interest's whereabouts.

Congressman Lantos visits The Hague

February 26, 2007 U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos, the Chairman of the House International Relations Committee, visited The Hague, primarily to consult with Dutch officials about foreign policy issues.
In the photo Congressman Lantos gives an interview to Dutch television news program "EenVandaag" ("Channel 1 Today"). The interview was broadcast on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.

U.S. Judge discusses impact of foreign law on U.S. Courts

February 26, 2007 During his February 22-27 visit to the Netherlands, Judge John G. Koeltl, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NewYork, visited the University of Utrecht where he lectured on “The use of foreign and international sources by American judges” to 65 law students and faculty. The judge answered questions about court jurisdiction, The Hague Convention, and the Alien Tort Statue.
Judge Koeltl also participated in the “World Organization for Cross-Border Cooperation in Civil and Commercial Matters/Hague Conference on Private International Law.”
Furthermore, in The Hague the judge met with private international lawyers at the T.M.C. Asser Institute, as well as with the Director of the Council for the Judiciary.
