The Police are not the ones puting out theories, but the British Media that makes this case a soap opera to sell tons of paper with manipulated information.
There are strong evidences that Madelleine died in the apartment that night, and strong evidences that the parents were involved in her disappearances. There's nothing more said by the police that works under secrecy of justice, and laws that prevent the information of the investigation to be published before the case is taken to the Public Prosecutor, to avoid speculation... YES speculation its all that the media are doing since they dont get nothing from the Police.
